Meeting site Saturday July 15th at 8:A.M.

We will meet in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn at the intersection of I10 and I410 in North San Antonio. This will be just blocks away from the job sites.

Please Leave your Home Church in time to arrive at the Comfort Inn by 8 A.M. Sharp! We will have a long day ahead of us!

If you have them, please bring ladders, air compressors and hoses, pitch forks, flat shovels, power saws, hammers, nail pullers,etc. You can also use the following checklist:

  3. 20-24 oz. Framing Hammer
  4. 16 oz. Claw Hammer
  5. Combination Square
  6. Carpenter's Framing Square
  7. Carpenter's Level

  9. Set of Wrenches
  10. Hacksaw
  11. Screwdrivers
  12. Electric Drill
  13. Circular Saw
  14. Chalk Line
  15. Sturdy Ladder(s)
  16. Saw Horses
  17. Carpenter's Pencils and/or Felt Tipped Pen
  18. Hand Saw
  19. String
  20. Plumb Bob
  21. Clam
  22. Air Compressor w/Nail Gun and Staple Gun
  23. Finish Hammer
  24. Nail Set
  25. Caulking Gun
  26. Chisel

We will be working on the following 2 properties.

22 Wayside, 78213
This roof will need about 10 people to tear off the back half between the valley and then replace with some decking.

Supplies needed: 1. Bark Brown shingles - 700 SF 2. 4 rolls Tar paper and fasteners 3. 20" x 23' of galvanized 29 gauge valley flashing 4. 10 sheets of 1/2 " roof decking 5. 1 gas water heater vent cover 6. Trailer for trash removal

This roof will need about 6 people to include 1 expert to tear off and replace the right front side and brace while working and then repair the left side where tree limbs have damaged the roof. There is also settling between the front and rear addition and caulking will have to be placed between the old house and the addition. Also the garage has been converted and the front paneling will have to be sealed. There is also a side door on the garage that will have to be sealed. The tree limbs need to be removed from the roof.

Supplies needed: 1. White shingles - 200 SF 2. 1 roll Tar paper and fasteners 3. 4 sheets of 1/2 " roof decking 4. 4-5 tubs of White caulk for sealing exterior siding leaks 5. Trailer for trash removal. I will have the necessary supplies at the work sites.
